The closure will happen from 7:30am on Monday 3rd November 2025 until 4:30pm on Friday 7th November - or earlier if the works are completed sooner.

In order to minimise disruption, school buses (such as the 395) will continue to be allowed through Colinsburgh during the resurfacing work and all those who use the bus to get to the Waid Academy should continue to use their usual bus stop.

For other bus journeys a shuttle bus will be provided as below, with boarding taking place at a temporary stop located just outside the closure, near Colinsburgh Town Hall.

As the 95 will omit both Colinsburgh and Kilconquhar from its route, it will have spare time in its journey and will wait in Elie to connect with the shuttle bus. The same will NOT be true for the X60 and you may therefore need to allow extra time for connections with the X60...

Beware that the 95 timetable has a number of buses missing out Colinsburgh and Kilconquhar.

When a bus in one direction is missing there is usually still a bus available at about the same time in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION.

You may therefore need to catch a bus away from where you want to go and cross the road at a suitable place to change to an X60, or X58 or even a 95 going to your destination.
