Kinross & Dollar

Glenfarg Community Transport run an hourly service between Perth and Tillicoultry that fits in well with changing buses with the Stagecoach 65 from St Andrews by crossing the road at Bridge of Earn.

Their three 16-seat mini-buses follow a rural route via Glenfarg, Kinross and Dollar.

Stop off in Kinross for a visit to Loch Leven, or Dollar for Dollar Glen and Castle Campbell?

The service runs Monday to Saturday - there is no Sunday service.

As an example day trip, you could catch the 95 from Pinkerton Road Crail at 07:46 getting to St Andrews Bus Station at 08:17 for the 65 departing at 08:30 getting to Bridge of Earn at 09:34. Cross the road for the Glenfarg Community Transport 55 mini-bus departing at 09:47 and be in Kinross for 10:20 where the same bus continues as a number 23 getting to Dollar at 10:43 or Tillicoultry at 10:50

A return bus at 13:55 from Tillicoultry or 14:02 from Dollar takes a break at Kinross between 14:25 and 14:40 but gets back to Bridge of Earn for 15:12 where you cross the road for the 65 at 15:19 getting to St Andrews at 16:25 for the 95 at 16:35 and arrival in Pinkerton Road at 17:05.

The last bus using this route is 1 hour later - after that your travel probably includes changing at Kinross to the Stagecoach X56 either northbound to Bridge of Earn or Perth or southbound to Halbeath Park and Ride and a change to an X24 or X59 for St Andrews.
